Comments: Original Entry Time: 1998-07-21 19:24:27 Greetings ex-Voice of Iron folks! I proudly served in B Co from January 1986 to May 1989...barely made it out of Germany with an Honorable Discharge...BEST time of my life though and it was TOO short. I was a smart-ass kid then, and I'm all growed up now, I'd like to believe. I would love to hear from anyone who wishes to correspond-even if it is only to add them to my Christmas card list. Great to see Sgt. Miller's comments- I served proudly with his lovely wife in 2nd platoon, too. Congrats on the child and the fact y'all are still together!!!! Y'all (or Kat) can drop me a line, too if ya want.

Comments: Original Entry Time: 1998-07-11 12:46:06 I was the senior PA for 3AD prior to the Gulf and during the Gulf War worked on the Division Staff as a planner while I turned my aid station over to Chief Beaoui. I pulled sick call and ran the Edwards Kaserne TMC from April 1989 until the war . I took care of refugees at Safwan, at the old Iraqui clinic with CW2 Beaoui after the cease fire. Glad to know the 3AD is well represented on the web. If there is any news of other 3AD personnel or any items of interest about the Division I would be very delighted to hear about them Thanks for the memories! CW4 (ret) Joe Hatch SPEARHEAD!!!!

Comments: Original Entry Time: 1998-06-15 11:21:47 To ALL my COMRADES who were in the 143RD Signal Batallion in Edwards Kasern between the years of 1973 to 1975 please contact me at one of the above EMAIL addresses. I am curious to know how many people still stay in contact and if they do where do they meet each year for a reunion. As you all know they deativated and merged the 3RD Armored into the 1ST Armored in late 1992 and the 143RD merged and became part of the 141ST Signal. I still think that the Spearhead of the 3RD armored was the BEST DIVISION in all of EUROPE. I miss my COMRADES and am curious of who is around and where they are and how they are making out. To ALL the people who served in the 3RD Armored and 143RD Signal ...... you should be PROUD and WE WERE ALWAYS A PROUD BUNCH. Here is to the MEN & WOMEN who served in the 3RD Armored and the 143RD. I TOAST & SALUTE YOU ALL !!!

Comments: Original Entry Time: 1998-06-13 19:49:45 I was really thrilled to find this page about the 143rd Signal Battalion. I was stationed with Charlie Company from December of 1976 through June of 1979. The company Commanders during that period were Capt. John Anderson and Capt. Thomas McKenzie, respectfully. If anyone remembers me, please drop me a line.

Comments: Original Entry Time: 1998-01-27 23:58:16 Comments: I can't believe someone finally set up a 143rd page. I was in the 143rd from 85-90. Started in A Co and was transferred to B Co less than three months later and that's where I stayed. The entire time in first platoon, including through the Hadley era!! I married someone from 2nd platoon (Lil One) and we are still together. Having our first child in Feb '98. Still in service, went NG and will retire in 2004. One person we have been looking for LONG AND HARD is Dennis Thomas. Was an E-6, should now be E-7. Spent time in Ft. Hood and we've lost touch. ANYONE with contact info please email us. -------> Tschüß!!
