Today's Pix

San Diego 1997-I know, I know,  the pix are tiny-I'll rescan them later.

While traveling on business in 1997, I realized I had some people's home address info and decided to look them up.  This actually led to the idea of creating this website to begin with. A cool house in San Diego Visiting Brett Bouett & his wife Anja Brett's bird

I just now found your web site and signed your guest book. I'm from the WWII era. I'm a seventy five year old veteran. I noticed that most of your signees [sic] are just kids when compared to my age. I'm going to scan a picture of my ribbons case which contains a Belgium Fouragee [sic] and send it. Maybe you can retrieve and cut it out of the email picture. I will scan it on the imaging program. I hope you can receive it.

November 2000

Greetings from Tennessee,

My name is Jerry Shannon. I was stationed with the 143rd from January 1985 till June 1987.  John Tessitore and I were there about the same amount of time, we had gone through AIT fall of 1984.  Your name sounds familiar, where did you take basic training? Mine was at Fort Jackson, Bravo - 1 - 1.  Drill Sergeants Taylor and McBride. Below is a picture of my family now.

Got to go, supper time.

 Dan,

Attached are some pictures taken in Iraq recently. The first picture  is of an Iraqi Camel herder. The second was taken at an Iraqi  ASP/Range complex. The third pic was taken as we crossed the Euphrates on a LOGPAC. The fourth was taken at the border when I was moving my  company into Iraq. I ran into Armando Reyes during the layover. The fifth pic was taken as you enter Baghdad International Airport.  Saddam was a sick dude...he had his picture everywhere and was still building palaces and military complexes while his people were  starving. SSG (P) Gardner and I are trying to get the "143rd" group  from within 22 Sig Bde together for a picture to send to you, more to follow later.
