Welcome to Memories from A Co. 143rd Signal Battalion  1970-1971.

SSG Walter Wilfong has put together a presentation from his personal collection.  The photos cover people and places related to A Co 143rd Signal Battalion, 3rd Armor Division and the areas frequented by the battalion's soldiers.  I have converted the original PowerPoint presentation to an HTML/web format.  If you are interested in the original file let him know.  It is, however a 10MB download.

SSG Wilfong has brought a piece of history to our site, showing an era, which so far, no one has been able to document.  Notice the length of the soldiers hair and the lack of female soldiers.

Please forward any comments to both the site at webmaster@voiceofiron.com  and SSG Wilfong.
