Rodney Rodriguez and I filmed Sachs at some point it the spring of 1990. We went down in the afternoon and I actually took the time to frame each shot up nicely. I wish I had footage of the train ride there or a cab ride from the Kaserne. There's more footage of the architecture on the buildings and the bridge, which was trimmed so that the video would fit the song.
Finding music for this was a pain. The actual top 40 pop hits of the era were horrible, and seem more so now in retrospect. My friends and I listened to heavy metal back then anyway and Everything Glows had been buzzing around in my mind for a few days-it's not what he's saying, but the melody of the song that for me, made it fit for a flashback type of clip like this.
