Willie White had just left the 143rd when I arrived
in '87. When I met LTC Cox, [who had apparently really liked Willie] he thought
Willie was back, and lots of people mentioned a resemblance. At the "Hail and
Farewell" it was the same thing. Oddly enough for a popular guy, no one had a
picture of him. When I finally saw one, years later, there was almost no
similarity except the Army-issue glasses. THIS is me on the left-see what I
mean? No resemblance. A guy in 2nd Bde, at Gelnhausen, named Glass was also
said to look like me [WTF, are these clones?]
