BUGA

One of these days...I have some pictures from the 1989 BUGA, they will make it up here sooner or later.

The Bundesgartenshäu or BUGA is a huge garden event held in Germany, with each city getting something like 10 years to prepare. Frankfurt was ready in 7 or 8 that year, for which they won critical acclaim. The park area covered a large chunk of real estate, somewhere behind the Fernmeldetürm or Signal Tower and reached as far as the fairgrounds where the Dippemess was held [or close to it].
